According to Guymon OK local news reports a plane crash in Hooker left two men in critical condition. Police said that a 1967 Mooney M20F aircraft being piloted by 55-year old Terry Heil crashed roughly one mile west of Hooker which is north of Guymon in the Oklahoma panhandle.

Authorities said that passenger John Henry Escalante 34 was also injured in the crash which allegedly happened shortly after takeoff. Reports said that the aircraft lost power after taking off from Hooker and crashed approximately 300 yards away from the runway. There was no specific cause given in the accident reports.
