Escondido, CA — According to reports, an alleged drunk driver had to be pulled from a burning car in Escondido, California, on Sunday. The accident occurred around 1:30 in the morning, near the intersection of Broadway and West Valley Parkway.
According to police, the driver of a Nissan Altima ran a red light and hit a Lincoln SUV. The Nissan caught fire and police had to pull the driver, unconscious, from the wreck. The driver of the Lincoln had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The names of those involved in the accident haven’t been released. Police are still investigating the collision.
