HARLINGEN, TX — A pedestrian accident sent one teenager to the hospital in Harlingen, Texas on Wednesday, March 26th, 2014, according to the report from KVEO.
Officials working with police say an unidentified 17-year-old student was hurt when they were struck by a vehicle when they walked along or made an attempt to cross Highway 77 near 7th Street.

The unidentified student was taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital where an update on their condition was not made available.
The driver involved in the accident did not report immediate injury.
Texas Department of Transportation officials are currently handling the crash investigation.
