BROOKLYN, NY — One woman was taken to the hospital after a serious forklift accident that happene in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday, March 26th, 2014, according to a report from Brooklyn News 12.
Officials working with accident investigators have said that they have reason to believe an as-of-yet unidentified 73-year-old woman was killed when she was struck by a forklift for reasons unknown near the intersection of 60th and 13th Avenue.

The injured woman was taken to nearby Lutheran Medical Center with an unspecified injury. No other injuries were outlined in the news report.
The operator of the forklift was taken into custody on unknown charges.
Authorities hope to release more information about the accident in the coming days.
