BALLINGER, TX — Two people have died and one was hospitalized after a serious crash that happened just outside Ballinger, Texas on Sunday, March 9th, 2014, according to the report from Big Country Homepage.
Officials with information from the crash investigation have said 19-year-old Bolton Day was killed when the vehicle they were in crashed into another car head-on after drifting into the lanes of oncoming traffic while driving on Highway 67. Police received the call about the accident around 6:30 in the morning.

Emergency responders transported Bolton Day to a nearby hospital where he died a number of hours after his arrival. Also killed in the accident was 18-year-old Billy Jones, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
Authorities hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
