HOUSTON, TX — A pedestrian has died after a serious accident in Houston, Texas on Saturday, February 1st, 2014, according to a report from Click 2 Houston.
Police with details of the crash investigation have reason to believe one person was fatally injured when they were struck by a vehicle when they were walking along or attempting to cross Burkett Street in the 3600 block.

The unidentified 40-year-old pedestrian was taken by EMS responders to a nearby hospital for the treatment of unspecified injuries. He died a number of weeks after his arrival.
Police are currently investigating the nature of the accident.
