ODESSA, TX — A pedestrian was killed in a traffic accident in Odessa, Texas on Thursday, January 30th, 2014 according to a report from News West 9.
Police have reason to believe 37-year-old Christopher Durbin was killed when he was struck by a vehicle as he walked along or attempted to cross 42nd Street. The accident was reported around 11:30 p.m.

Authorities transported Durbin to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries a short time after he arrived.
The driver of the car was identified in the report as Angel Mariscal, who was unhurt in the accident.
The incident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
