Police from the Massachusetts Highway Patrol Have not yet released the names of the two individuals hurt in a tractor-trailer rollover accident that happened in Hopkinton, MA on Thursday, October 17th, 2013, according to the Metro West Daily News. Police with details of the accident believe two people were hurt when the tractor-trailer they occupied experienced a loss of control for reasons currently under investigation while driving down Interstate 495. The vehicle left the roadway before rolling, trapping the occupants in the cab.
The report indicates that both a 65-year-old male and a 65-year-old female passenger sustained unspecified injuries in the accident and were transported by emergency response personnel to UMass Memorial Medical Center where updates on their conditions were not made immediately available by hospital staff. Police are currently working to determine if speed was a contributing factor in the accident. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
