Representatives tasked with leading the investigation from the Texas State Police have released the name of the man killed in a head-on crash in El Paso, TX on Sunday, October 13th, 2013, according to KFOX. Authorities working closely with accident investigators currently have reason to believe Robert Karr was killed when the vehicle he operated was struck by a head-on driver for reasons currently under investigation while driving down Interstate 10.

According to the statement released by officials, Robert Karr sustained massive injuries in the accident and died shortly after. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle also died in the accident. Officials are trying to determine if alcohol played a part in the accident. The investigation into the accident remains active and ongoing by personnel from both local and state agencies.
