Officials from the Texas State Police have released the name of one of the individuals killed in a head-on crash in El Paso, TX on Sunday, October 13th, 2013, according to KFOX. Police familiar with details of the investigation currently have reason to believe Nora Padilla was killed when the car she drove the wrong direction on Interstate 10 struck another vehicle head-on for reasons currently under investigation.

According to the statement released by officials, Nora Padilla sustained massive injuries in the accident and died as a result. One other person was killed in the accident. Police are currently working to determine if alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident. Police expect to release more information pertaining to the accident as their investigation progresses.
