Officials with details of the investigation from the Oregon State Police have not yet released the name of the man killed in a landscaping accident in Portland, OR on Wednesday, October 30th, 2013, according to KATU. Police currently have reason to believe an as-of-yet unidentified landscape worker was killed when the pole he used to cut high hedges touched a power line.
According to the statement released by officials, the individual was killed instantly in the accident. No other injuries were reported in connection with the accident. Officials hope to release more information regarding the accident in the coming days. Police from both local and state agencies are said to be investigating the accident.
