Officials in charge of the investigation from the Montana State Police have not yet released the name of the men killed and injured in a road accident in Butte, MT on Friday, October 18th, 2013, according to KRTV. Police currently have reason to believe one person was killed while another was hurt when the cherry picker they were in tipped for reasons currently under investigation, spilling them out.
According to the statement released by officials, both men sustained unspecified injuries and were transported by emergency response personnel to a nearby hospital where one succumbed a short while after he arrived. An update on the injured man was not made immediately available by hospital staff. Police believe the men were driving when they stopped to adjust the basket when the machinery flipped. Police expect to release more information pertaining to the accident in the coming days.
