Monday, August 5th 2013 — Two people, who were not identified in reports, were airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital after the car they were occupants within became involved in an accident with a logging truck on Monday in Covington, VA. Reports could not offer details as to the nature or severity of injuries the two sustained in the accident.
Scene of the Accident:
Accident reports state that the logging truck was attempting to exit one highway and enter another, it did not specify whether or not the truck was completely stopped when the accident occurred. Investigation into the accident is being handled by local authorities, and is thought to still be underway.
