Monday, August 5th 2013 — A total of seven people, none of whom were identified in reports, were injured when a pickup truck allegedly struck a municipal bus in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Monday. The driver of the bus was confirmed to have been seriously injured in the accident and taken to Broward Health Medical Center, as well as six passengers on that bus who sustained minor injuries.
Scene of the Accident:
No information was available as to the driver of the pickup truck that allegedly hit the bus, and it is not certain that person didn’t sustain injuries as well. That driver was cited with failure to use due care. Investigation into the accident is thought to have been concluded.
