On Friday February 26 Clyde Counts was taken to a hospital after being rear-ended by a Horry County police officer. Police report that Counts had slowed to make a turn and he was rear-ended by an unmarked police car driven by officer Keith Strickland. Counts has been released from the hospital. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
