West Point, GA — Earlier this year, there was another accident at the West Point Kia Plant, following the death of worker Joh Dunnivant in October 2014. Apparently, another worker was injured after an industrial accident on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
The cause of the accident and other details aren’t being released at this moment, but it looks like another worker was injured and had to be rushed to a hospital.
Later, another news report was released, wherein Kia said that they were committed to safety and confirmed that one “team member was transported to a local hospital after reporting a possible injury.”
Hopefully, more updates will be released later.
