Birmingham, AL — The local news reports out of Birmingham released a limited report earlier this month (Monday, November 30, 2015) that claimed a worker was injured at a construction site. The man’s name wasn’t released, but he was apparently injured on the job that Monday afternoon after an accident that may have involved some have machinery.
The accident happened at what appears to be a residential area near the intersection of Grant Avenue and Lincoln Avenue SE.
At about 1:45 p.m. that Monday afternoon, something wrong wrong and a worker ended up injured in a large pit that had been dug by an excavator.
The news said that he had to be rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but they never mentioned his condition or how bad the injuries were. The cause of the accident wasn’t immediately apparent, either.
