Clearcreek Township, OH — At the site of the future St. Mary Catholic Church’s site on Yankee Road, there was a construction accident reported this past Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Though the news reports aren’t very detailed, they claim that a worker was injured and taken to a hospital after falling at the worksite on Tuesday afternoon, around 2:30 p.m.
The site of the future church is just north of Lyle Five Points Road, along Yankee Road.
A worker who hasn’t been identified was apparently performing his duties that day at the worksite when he fell from an unknown height. Paramedics showed up at the worksite and the man was rushed to a hospital in serious condition.
Right now, that’s all that’s being released. It’s not even clear who was in charge of construction for the church or who the general contractor was.
