Oconomowoc, WI – One person was injured after a vehicle was struck by a train on December 5, 2015. The accident occurred around 3:00 AM.
According to reports, a vehicle, with an unknown number of occupants, was struck by a train at the railroad crossing on Elm Street. Police suspect the car was partially on the tracks before it was struck.
One individual in the vehicle sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision, and was transported to Aurora Hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
No one on board the train was reported injured in the accident.
Police are still investigating the accident.
No charges have been filed at this time.
