Opa-Locka, FL – James Webster and two others were injured when a small plane crashed in Opa-locka on Tuesday, December 1st, 2015. The accident happened shortly after 10:30 am.
From what we can tell, Webster was piloting a single-engine Cherokee PA-28 with an elderly couple also abroad. The plane departed from Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport but was forces to land soon after for reasons unknown. The plane landed upside down on its roof next to the water near the airport and a Tri-Rail station.
All three reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are looking into the cause of the crash.
