Chadwick Kyffin, Trapper Dan Poindexter Injured in Anchorage, AL Car Accident

Anchorage, AL – Chadwick Kyffin and Trapper Dan Poindexter were injured in a head-on collision on Monday, November 30th, 2015. The accidnet happened around 6:00 am.

From what we can tell, 27-year-old Kyffin was driving a 1999 Jeep southbound along Seward Highway when the vehicle collided, for reasons unknown, with a northbound 1989 Toyota Camry driven by 36-year-old Poindexter.

Both are reported to be in stable condition.

Troopers say no citations were issued and road conditions were icy at the time of the crash.

I was actually a couple cars back from this wreck, one of the first on the scene, and helped administer CPR on the victims. The truck driver was going way too fast, but it was actually his trailer that swung around and hit the suv, the semi-truck ended in the median.

At the company that I work for, e deal with monitoring construction activity and work around trenches and all sorts of construction equipment/vehicles. I sometimes wonder if construction companies have enough safety training to inform employees of how to protect themselves while on the job.
