Atlanta, GA – Six firefighters were injured after a two vehicle collision involving a fire truck Thursday afternoon on October 22, 2015.
According to police, a firetruck carrying four firefighters collided with an SUV carrying two fire personnel at intersection of Lee Street and Van Buren street. The two vehicles were in route to the scene of a fire in the 1900 block of Murphy Avenue.
All six of the individuals involved in the accident sustained various injuries as a result of the collision. They were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
They names of those injured have not been released at this time.
