Detroit, MI — A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition after a three-vehicle car accident that occurred on Greenfield in the west side of Detroit on Thursday evening, November 12.
According to police, the boy’s mother was driving a Chevy Malibu, and allegedly intoxicated at the time, when she rear-ended a Jeep. The force of the impact caused the Jeep to be pushed into an SUV. Two other people were injured in the crash, but the boy in the passenger seat was critically injured.
If she is found guilty, his mother faces fines and jail time. Police are still investigating this accident.
