Dowagiac, Wayne Township, MI – Two people were injured after a single vehicle accident on November 16, 2015. The accident occurred around 5:30 PM.
According to reports, a vehicle, occupied by a male and female, was found crashed into a tree along Lake Shore Drive near Twin Lakes. It is unclear how the accident occurred.
The male occupant sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The female occupant sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported by air to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Police are investigating the crash, but they suspect alcohol may have played a role in contributing to the accident.
