Lufkin, TX — 34-year-old John Morgan was injured in an 18-wheeler accident that occurred on Ellen Trout Drive on November 12, 2015.
According to police, 39-year-old Tammy Patterson, who was driving a truck full of flat-screen TVs, allegedly took a left hand turn in front of Morgan’s truck. He was unable to stop in time before colliding with with the trailer of Patterson’s lumber truck. The force of the impact caused Patterson’s 18-wheeler to be knocked on its side.
Patterson says she did not see Morgan’s truck when she made the turn. Morgan was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still investigating this accident.
