Philadelphia, PA – Two motorists were injured after a single vehicle accident on October 15, 2015. The accident occurred around 3:30 PM.
According to reports, a 65-year-old male was driving a flatbed trailer along Schuylkill Expressway when he lost control of the semi-truck and flipped it onto its side. The accident occurred between University City and 26th Street. A pickup truck hit the semi-truck after it has overturned.
The driver of the flatbed truck sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident. He was taken to a Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
The driver of the pickup was also transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. The extent of his injuries is also unknown at this time.
The accident is currently under investigation.
No charges have been filed at this time.
