Fargo, ND — A local man in Fargo was sent to a hospital after his box truck was hit by another driver in a residential area. This accident happened on Thursday, October 1, 2015 and the injured driver was identified as Randell Martin.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. that afternoon, at the intersection of 12th Avenue North and Third Street North.
Allegedly, a car ran a stop sign at that intersection and crashed into the side of Martin’s box truck, which appeared to belong to US AutoForce, a business.
The driver of the car, later identified as Doris Gregor, wasn’t harmed, but Martin’s box truck flipped over as a result of the accident and he was trapped inside the cab. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene and helped him escape, then took Martin to a hospital. He was injured, but not critically so.
The police, meanwhile, said they cited Gregor for failing to stop at the stop sign.
