Apache Junction, AZ – A teen was injured after a pedestrian accident on October 26, 2015.
According to reports, a 15-year-old girl was attempting to cross a street when she was hit by 21-year-old Ricardo Redondo-Reyes. Redondo-Reyes fled the scene after the accident.
The teenage girl sustained non life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. She was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
No others were injured as a result of the accident.
Ricardo Redondo-Reyes was later arrested and charged on suspicion of leaving the scene of a serious injury accident, failure to render aid and tampering with physical evidence
The accident is currently under investigation.
