Winter Park, FL – Julio Seioville and train passengers were injured after a two vehicle accident involving dump truck and train on October 8, 2015. The accident occurred Thursday morning.
According to reports, a dump truck, driven by Julio Seioville, was parked behind Thomas Lumber building on Orange Avenue when he realized he was too close to the train tracks. When he saw the train coming down the tracks, he attempted to move out of the train’s path but was unsuccessful. The SunRail train collided with the dump truck. 150 passengers were aboard the train at the time of the accident.
Julio Seioville and seven passengers aboard the SunRail train sustained non life-threatening injuries.
The names of the injured train passengers have not yet been released.
Seioville was cited for parking within 50 feet of at railroad track.
No other charges have been filed at this time.
