Monroe, LA – Dennis Yates Jr. was taken to the hospital after a box truck accident in Monroe on Monday, October 12th, 2015. The accident happened around 9:00 am.
22-year-old Yates was traveling south on SC 200 in a 2007 Ford box truck when he ran off the right side of the road on a curve at the Zion Road intersection for reasons unknown. The truck traveled down an embankment and struck several trees as it tore into the woods where it came to rest on its side.
Yates was extricated from the cab was rescuers.
He was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where he was listed in good condition.
The accident remains under investigation.
