Escambia County, FL — 22-year-old Nakeem Williams was injured in an accident between a bus and 18-wheeler in Escambia County, Florida, around 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27.
According to police, the collision happened on Highway 29 just north of Champion Drive when 27-year-old Ryan Joiner, who was driving a 2015 Peterbuilt log truck, allegedly turned into the path of an oncoming Escambia County Community College bus. Williams was the driver of the bus, and suffered non life-threatening injuries in the collision.
Joiner was not not injured, and there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident. Police have allegedly cited Joiner for reckless driving.
