Walker County, TX — Two people were injured in a head-on 18-wheeler accident that occurred off Highway 75 near Walker County, Texas, on Saturday, October 24.
The accident happened just after 7 a.m. According to investigators, an 18-wheeler and Jeep collided head-on in a road’s bend, which caused the 18-wheeler to run off the road and into a tree in the tree-line. Both drivers suffered life-threatening injuries and were entrapped. They were extricated by New Waverly firefighters, Walker County EMS, and Montgomery County EMS. Both were transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center.
Police are still investigating to find out what factors contributed to the accident.
