Daniele International Inc. has found salmonella in various salami products, recall has been issued.

Daniele International Inc. based in Rhode Island has announced that the U.S. Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service has found that some of the companys salami products are contaminated with salmonella.  This follows an earlier sausage-product recall for salmonella contamination.  The meat products with safety issues have sell-by dates between February 3 2010 and May 26 2010.  If you have any concerns over having ingested contaminated product you can contact the companys safety hotline at 888-345-4160.

Most people take the safety of their food for granted.  This is perfectly natural.  We have a very reasonable expectation that our nations food suppliers make sure that our food is safe for human consumption.  Unfortunately as this meat recall and other similar issues show this is not always the case.  We have organizations like the FDA who help catch problems like this but the ugly truth is that most product safety issues are brought to light because consumers use those products and are thereby injured.  One might think that companies would be eager to pay for the damages they cause with their defective products but unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth.  Most manufacturers will do whatever they can to protect their bottom line.  But ultimately product safety laws are in place to protect consumers not manufacturers.  With a Dallas personal injury law attorney on your side you can make sure that those responsible for your injuries are brought to justice.

I'm a former employee. I had brought up this exact scenario and suggested a maintenance procedure that would eliminate the possibility of this type injury. Obviously my warning went unheeded.

I was actually a couple cars back from this wreck, one of the first on the scene, and helped administer CPR on the victims. The truck driver was going way too fast, but it was actually his trailer that swung around and hit the suv, the semi-truck ended in the median.

A lot of people say smack about lawyers, but I want to say that I'm glad there is a way that people who are wronged by corporate neglect can get justice and force change. We are living in a world where corporations and govt care less than ever about common people, and I support your work. I hope I will never need your services.

Thank you for posting these accident articles on your site. At the company that I work for, e deal with monitoring construction activity and work around trenches and all sorts of construction equipment/vehicles. I sometimes wonder if construction companies have enough safety training to inform employees of how to protect themselves while on the job.
