Most people take the safety of their food for granted. This is perfectly natural. We have a very reasonable expectation that our nations food suppliers make sure that our food is safe for human consumption. Unfortunately as this meat recall and other similar issues show this is not always the case. We have organizations like the FDA who help catch problems like this but the ugly truth is that most product safety issues are brought to light because consumers use those products and are thereby injured. One might think that companies would be eager to pay for the damages they cause with their defective products but unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth. Most manufacturers will do whatever they can to protect their bottom line. But ultimately product safety laws are in place to protect consumers not manufacturers. With a Dallas personal injury law attorney on your side you can make sure that those responsible for your injuries are brought to justice.
