Garden City, KS — 23-year-old Alyson Marin was injured in an 18-wheeler accident that occurred in Garden City on Monday, October 19.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Marin was driving her Toyota RAV4 around 12 a.m., and was on Kansas Highway 23 behind the 18-wheeler, which was being driven by William Lee, also age 23. At this time, William Lee attempted to make a right turn at milepost 89, and Marin ran into the back of the 18-Wheeler.
Police are not sure what caused the accident to occur, and are still investigating. Lee was not injured in the collision, and Marin is still in the hospital at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
