Stage Stop, ID — There was a wreck east of Boise this past Monday morning, September 28, 2015 that left two Dallas men injured. Police said that Juan Segura and Jose Brown were both injured and taken to hospitals after their semi-truck lost control and crashed along I-84 that morning.
This was around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, near the Mayfield Road & Orchard Road overpass.
Juan Segura, 20 years old, was a driving a semi-truck east along I-84 that morning with Jose Brown, 33, as his passenger. Both are from Dallas, Texas.
As he neared the overpass at Mayfield Road, he lost control of his truck for unknown reasons and swerved off the side of I-84. His truck then went through the guardrail and crashed into a bridge abutment.
Both he and Brown were taken to a nearby hospital in Boise to be treated for their injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening. The cause of this accident is still under investigation.
