West Fargo, ND – Two workers were injured Wednesday morning around 10:40 when the trench they were working collapsed, in West Fargo, ND.
It is not known at this time why the trench collapsed, but we do know that two workers were in a 15 foot deep trench when it came crashing down around them. According to local sources, one of the workers was buried up to his knees, and another was buried up to his waist and pinned by concrete forms. After a little more than half an hour, rescue workers were able to free both men and they were transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of the workers’ injuries is unknown at this time.
There has been no information released regarding the men’s identities or who employs them. It cannot also be said for certain that an investigation is taking place.
