Columbus, OH – Tuesday afternoon, a driver was critically injured when they were involved in an accident with a school bus in Columbus, OH.
The accident occurred near Morse and Westerville Rds. Tuesday morning. It appears that the driver of a car crashed into the back of a school bus carrying 20 students. The driver was critically injured in the accident and taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital. The driver’s current condition is unknown. Luckily, no one on the school bus was injured in the accident.
It is not known at this time what contributed to the car hitting the bus. Judging from the pictures of the accident scene, the driver hit the bus pretty hard. One can also see that it was pretty wet in Columbus that day and the weather was lousy. An investigation into the accident is ongoing, including a review by local authorities of footage from the bus’ camera.
