Jefferson County, TN – Niressa Morgan, Savannah Bolling, and Andrea Belcher where injured in a one-vehicle accident thought to be related to alcohol in Jefferson County on Monday, September 28th, 2015. The accident happened around 2:35 am.
18-year-old Niressa A. Morgan was driving a 1997 Toyota Camry northbound on Highway 11E near Old Andrews Johnson Highway when the accident happened. For reasons unknown, the Camry departed from the roadway and struck an embankment. The vehicle went airborne before coming to rest on the passenger side.
18-year-old Savannah Bolling was a passenger in the vehicle. She was ejected from the back window. She was taken to University of Tennessee Medical Center by Lifestar for treatment of her injuries.
18-year-old Andrea Belcher was also a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center by ambulance. Her condition is not known.
According to the police at the site of the accident, Morgan had been drinking .
