Santa Rosa, CA – 23-year-old Jonathan Dubois was injured when an oil lab exploded in the Santa Rosa Junior College neighborhood on Thursday, September 24th, 2015. The accident happened around 10:30 pm.
According to reports, a shed behind an apartment building in the 1100 block of Humboldt Avenue, near Spencer Street, was on fire with flames extending to surrounding trees, neighboring fences, and a backyard and the fire burned close to the two-story apartment building.
Dubois was seriously burned and found suffering from burns to the front and back of his body outside of the Humboldt Street apartment complex.
His conditions is not known.
Police and fire investigators were jointly investigating the fire and the butane hash oil lab found inside the shed. There’s been no mention of mechanical malfunction or product defect in connection with this accident.
