Pontotoc, MS — On Wednesday of last week, a log truck accidentally overturned in an accident along Highway 278 and left its driver injured. Police haven’t released a lot of information yet, but confirmed that this happened near the intersection with Stark Road, on the northeast side of town.
The log truck and two other cars were apparently involved in a wreck at that intersection, which resulted in the log truck rolling over off the highway.
The driver was trapped inside the cab and had to be taken to a hospital after paramedics freed him. Right now, it doesn’t look like the injuries are serious.
