Deary, ID – Tuesday evening, around 9:30, Jeanne M. Thompson was struck by an 18-wheeler in a hit and run accident, near Deary, ID.
Authorities say, Ms. Thompson, 43-years-old was walking her horse along SH8, westbound, when she was struck by a green logging truck. The truck was unloaded at the time of the accident and sped off. Ms. Thompson was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, with injuries of an unknown severity. There is no update on her condition at this time.
Authorities are investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact the Idaho State Police.
