Reese, MI — There was an accident in late August (Friday, August 28, 2015) that left a woman from Bay City and a 4-year old boy with injuries. Police think that alcohol might’ve been a factor and noted that both the woman and the boy were taken to a hospital, but their injuries were minor.
They said that the 24-year old woman had been driving along M-81 that Friday night around 10:45 p.m. when she lost control and veered off the side of the highway.
Her car then crashed into a tree and a utility pole, then spun out, then crashed into a “No Parking” sign and came to a stop.
The woman and the child inside the car were both taken to a local hospital while police noted that they suspect alcohol was a factor. However, that hasn’t been confirmed yet. During the accident, one of the tires on the woman’s car came flying off.
