Tulsa, OK – A man has been arrested and charged with a DUI in connection with an accident involving a school bus on Tuesday, August 25th, 2015 in Tulsa.
29-year-old Jeronny Donny Adams is accused of driving the car that hit the bus, which was carrying Edison Preparatory School students, at the corner of Mohawk Boulevard and Lewis Avenue. Two people on the bus were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Hospital. Both were reported to be in fair condition. Another child was taken to a hospital by parents.
Adams was arrested on complaints of hit-and-run, DUI injury accident, operating a vehicle without a license, defective vehicle/improper equipment, failure to yield, no insurance and expired tag.
At this time, there’s been no mention of excessive speed or distracted driving in connection with this accident.
