Council Bluffs, IA – Friday morning, Andy Stroud, 32, was killed in a workplace accident at 275 Truck Service, near 32nd Ave. and South Expy., in Council Bluffs, IA.
According to reports, Mr. Stroud was working on the suspension of a rescue vehicle when a system failed and left him trapped under the vehicle. In the process, Mr. Stroud sustained severe injuries, from which, he succumbed and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other workers were injured in the accident. It is being reported that Mr. Stroud was a supervisor at the truck repair center.
There is no word on an investigation into the accident. The current reports are also very vague on what specific equipment failed.
