Union , MO – John, Cynthia, Isaac, and Enslee Stevenson were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Union on Saturday, September 12th, 2015. The incident happened just before 6:30 pm.
19-year-old Anthony Busby was driving a 1997 Dodge Ram along Little Fox Court at the intersection with Route AH when the accident happened. According to the police report, Busby failed to yield the right-of-way while attempting to turn left onto the roadway. The Dodge hits the driver’s side of a 2013 Volkswagon Passat, driven by 41-year-old John Stevenson.
John Stevenson reportedly sustained only minor injuries. 41-year-old Cynthia, 6-year-old Isaac, and 3-year-old Enslee all sustained serious injuries. Their conditions are not known.
Busby was not injured in the collision.
At this time, it’s not clear if excessive speed or distracted driving also factored into the collision. authorities continue to investigate this accident.
