Long Valley, NJ – 2 people were injured in a 2 car accident, shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Park and Old Farmers Roads in Long Valley, NJ.
It looks like the accident occurred when a 2003 Honda Pilot failed to stop at a stop sign, slamming into a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep overturned in the accident and caught fire. There is no report on the extent of the damage to the Honda.
The drivers of both vehicles reportedly escaped the accident unscathed, but one passenger from each vehicle suffered minor injuries and they were transported to Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
No one in the incident has been identified, but the driver of the Honda was reportedly cited for failure to stop at the stop sign.
