Omaha, NE – At approximately 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Felicia Woods was injured when her car collided with a dump truck in Omaha, NE.
Reportedly, at the intersection of Sorenson Pkwy and Fontenelle Blvd, Ms. Woods made a turn on a green-light, but failed to yield to an oncoming dump truck. Ms. Woods’, 40, car was struck and flipped, leaving Ms. Woods trapped in the vehicle for some time, until she was extricated by local rescue personnel. Sources indicate that Ms. Wood sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the dump truck, Dean Koncada was apparently uninjured.
A preliminary investigation established that Mr. Koncada had the the right of way. There is no mention of speed or alcohol playing a factor in the accident. At this time no tickets have been issued.
