Forest Township, MI – Two teens were seriously injured in Forest Township in relation to a drunk-driving accident on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015. The accident happened around 2:46 am.
18-year-old Sean Wayne Huddleston was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer along Kisser Road with two passengers, a 14-year-old female who was sitting in the front and a 15-year-old male sitting in the back of the vehicle.
Authorities believe that as Huddleston drove around a curve at a high rate of speed, he lost control of the vehicle and struck several trees. Both passengers were ejected causing both serious injury.
Both teens were transported to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. They are expected to make a full recovery.
Huddleston was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated. The accident is still under investigation.
