Ontario County, NY — One person was killed and three were injured in an alleged DUI accident in Ontario County, New York, on Sunday, August 16, 2015. The accident happened around 6:00 in the morning, at routes 20 and 5.
Police identified Ali Russ as the driver of a vehicle that drove off the road and crashed into two utility poles before coming to a stop.
Rickara Patterson, an 11-year-old girl, died in the accident. Kiana Patterson, 7, Nevaeh Merritt, 4, and Aimee Allard, 39, were all passengers in the car and were all injured. They were taken to Strong Hospital for treatment. Their exact conditions are unknown, although Merritt and Allard have already been released.
Police have charged Russ with DUI and say that more charges could be brought later as they continues with their investigation.
