Bryan, TX — Four people were injured in an alleged drunk driving accident in Bryan, Texas, on Sunday, August 16, 2015. The accident happened at the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Sandy Point Road.
Police identified 43-year-old Damion Washington as the driver who failed to yield the right of way at the intersection, and was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, Washington admitted to drinking two 40s before getting the behind the wheel. He and a passenger, as well as the driver and a passenger of the vehicle that hit him were all taken to St. Joseph for treatment.
Washington was later arrested and taken to Brazos County Jail. The accident is still being investigated.
